In the 1960s there was this huge race to prove their power in space research. The USA and Soviet union were the two super powers then and all the other continents were considered "developing nations" (some of them are still called) .From what i have read Soviet launched their first satellite to shock the Americans. It was the first artificial satellite. To prove their power both USSR and USA started launching satellites (lunar series in USSR and apollo series by USA) .US president John F.kennedy decided to land a man in his term.
In this time he announced that the top priority of the USA in space research is to land a man on the moon. This came true in 1969 when the first manned mission to moon was put into action. This so called mission is believed to be the first as the planned launch vehicle by soviet met with the destruction of the launch station . This space mission had three humans Neil Armstrong,Michael Collins,Edwin A. "Buzz" Aldrin .Armstrong is supposed to be called the first man to set his foot on the moon followed by Edwin . They collected samples of rocks and stuff and had pictures taken on the moon.
Is this really true ?
many critics say that the whole moon landing thing was a hoax.
1) the shadows are in different angles. the only light source in the moon should be sun . so there's one. varying lengths of shadows
people say they used light sources
2)footprint on the moon. how clean is the print showing dampness. but is ther water on the moon ? why there is no dust where the apollo 11 landed ? it should've created a crater because of the engine power
3)they've taken photos with special cameras i guess.. in 250 degrees any film will melt
4)people say they used wires like for stunt scenes in cinemas.
5)my question is tat why spend so much money to land a man on the moon ? jus to show their power ?
6)in 40 years , it was not possible by any other nation to go to the moon and set their flag ? with the advancements in 2009 ? was the money used for something else ?
7)why cant they take satellite pictures to prove this ?
8) why neil armstrong refused to give interviews to media ?
there are many videos and pictures showing different information on shdows,gravity on moon and footprints which may or may not be enhanced in any way. what is the truth ?? some say something political in involved in this .
